Brookfield Homes operates in four local markets areas: San Francisco Bay Area, Southland/Los Angeles, and San Diego/Riverside in California, and Northern Virginia; each with a team of professionals who understand the needs of their consumers and actively participate in the local community.

Brookfield Homes has been building homes in these markets since the mid-1990's as a wholly owned subsidiary of Brookfield Properties Corporation (www.brookfieldproperties.com). Brookfield Homes was spun-off from Brookfield Properties on January 6, 2003 as a separate public company traded on the New York Stock Exchange (BHS).

Last year Brookfield Homes ranked within the top twenty largest homebuilders.
